Welcome to Back 5 Fields!
Back 5 Fields is an urban farm established to benefit Central Arkansas’s homeless and/or impoverished neighbors.
Our goals are simple:
- Provide fresh produce for those in need.
- Generate enough revenue to provide homeless individuals work opportunities on the farm.
- Become a social gathering place for people from all walks of life who are committed to serving others.
Garden – We have a large garden plot where we grow a variety of vegetables.
Orchard – We started a small fruit tree orchard in 2021. 
Thanks to a generous donation we have over 30 trees (Apple, Fig, Jujube, Nectarine, Peach, Pear, Persimmon, and Plum) and several blueberry bushes. We also have blackberries, grapes and muscadines. Plus we are experimenting with growing hops to sell to the local craft brewer market. We have 20 plants now with room to expand to around 60.
Honeybees - We have several hives that we harvest honey from.
Watching over all of this are our donkeys Willie and 
family (Willie, Janie, Lukass, and Paula) and watchdogs Joe & Uno.
