A global threat like COVID-19 affects more than just the infected. A pandemic like this touches every person on the planet, and it presents an opportunity to come together as a global community.

We operate two emergency shelters during inclement winter weather. If coronavirus still poses a threat by November, which by all accounts it appears it will still be an issue for congregate settings, we are unsure of how it will all play out for those we serve. If it is safe to open emergency shelters, we will. If it is not, there will be hundreds of Arkansans who need inside and out of the danger. We are putting all donations made through the link below into our savings account to prepare to respond however we can when the time comes. It may seem premature, but we can’t imagine having to scramble when the cold arrives. Everything given will be used for either hotel rooms if we’re unable to open emergency shelters, or blankets/food/supplies if we can. It will be used for whatever is needed to help keep unsheltered Arkansans safe through dangerous weather during this pandemic.
